Mijas
Mijas was one of three defensive Arab fortresses during the Reconquest along with Osunilla and Fuengirola.
The Christians’ first attempt to take it resulted in a bloody skirmish with tales of heroism and cowardice for all tastes starring Ortega de Prado.
