In the opening scene an eagle (or is it?) swoops down into the cloister of a castle, which is La Calahorra. There the Assassins sect conducts its ceremonies by which we learn the plot of the film; Templars versus Assassins, fighting across the centuries for the possession of the apple of Eden and Man’s free will.
