The castle was used in the 6th season of Game of Thrones to represent Horn Hill.
The 11th century fortified farmhouse was built to defend against pirate incursions.
Today the castle is only open for arranged visits, and is invisible from the gate, where a sign warns of dogs on the loose, although they are very silent dogs.
